Itinerary

Meeting point at 09:00

Our meeting starts at 9 am in the pine trees shade on the beach, just where our meeting point is. After prep up, we will take a short ride along the coast to our first stop above the city of Omiš. A famous pirate town in the middle ages but today a well-known tourist destination - perfect for many outdoor activities.

Ride down Mosor and around the city

Next we will ride down Mosor mountain and circle around the city. South side of Kozjak has the sunny side offering a perfect view of Split and the whole bay, and the view continues as far as Dalmatian islands can be seen, as well as Italian mountains on a clear weather.

Lunch on a family farmstead + horse ride

After enjoying the majestic views we will ride to inland straight to lunch - traditional dalmatian dish Peka with some shots and wine. Besides freshly prepared lunch you get to enjoy a horse ride on this family farmstead if wanted!

Ride to top of the Kozjak

After relaxing time we are back to Kozjak, this time reaching its top. The view from the top of Kozjak will leave you in awe as the city of Split spreads below you.

Heading back to meeting point

The last hill on our route provides views of the coastline and beaches from above, as we head towards our last stop - the meeting point.

What documents do I need to rent a motorbike in Croatia?

You need a valid motorcycle licence and an matching category in your licence for all motorcycles over 125 cc. You also need a valid ID document, either your passport or ID card for EU citizens. It is required to have your own travel insurance. To rent a motorcycle for this tour you have to be 24 years or older, have a minimum of 3 years of experience and pay an insurance deposit of pre-defined amount in cash or card. Insurance deposit amount charged on-site can be done with credit or debit cards, also in the cash. Preauthorized amount on your card or cash left is returned upon the return and after the inspection of motorcycles, if there is no damage found.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, deposit of 20% of the total price has to be paid in order to confirm the booking of the tour.

Do I need to leave the deposit as an insurance before the tour?

Yes. This deposit is a motorcycle rental liability insurance in case of any damage or theft. Once on-site you will also be charged a deposit by the method of preauthorization hold. We hold a reserve or “freeze” the equivalent amount and the balance is unavailable until the motorcycle is returned. Deposit insurance amount can be done via credit card or in cash. The deposit amount is 500 euros and it does not depend on the duration of the booking.

What will happen in case of the motorcycle damage?

Any motorcycle damage or theft is covered by the deposit amount pre-defined and reserved from your credit card or taken upfront in cash before completing the rental process.

Are the motorcycles fully covered by the insurance?

Yes. Apart from liability insurance coverage taken as a deposit, in case of any damage exceeding the deposit amount is covered by insurance policies. We expect the guests to have at least a basic traveler's insurance covered by their insurance company before travel.

Can I book the tour and ride my own motorcycle?

Yes. These are adventure tours with riding light off-road trails and connecting roads. If you consider your motorcycle adequate for such riding, you can only book the guided tour without booking the motorcycle. Base cost of the tours cover guide service and miscellaneous expenses (food, ferry tickets, etc. – depending on the tour).

How many people are on tour?

We offer private and semi-private tours of 2 to max 6 people.

Where is the meeting point and how to get there?

The office and a pick-up/drop-off location is just outside of the city of Split, 20kms away in small place Dugi Rat, next to ˝Bracera˝ restaurant. It is conveniently placed on a coastal road to make it easier to start navigating the traffic for the start and avoid the inner city traffic stress. It is also set on a beautiful pebble stone beach with a renowned beach restaurant. You can take a taxi or a local bus n. 60 which leaves Split every 15mins and stops directly in front of our office. What is mileage covered in this tour?

Mileage covered on one-day tours is a little over 100kms (app 65 miles). We consider this mileage covered in a day enough to get to see around, enjoy the views, stop for a break or sightseeing and maybe for a short swim, if it is swimming season. From our experience, it is quite enough for a rider, not to tire both the rider and the motorcycle.

What should I bring on the tour?

A bottle of water, your rucksack (if you don’t have one, you can rent a soft bag in our office) with your personal belongings, spare clothes, sunscream, sunglasses and all the essentials you consider potentially necessary for you on this tour.

What happens in case of a bad weather?

If the weather appears to be really bad on your requested booking date (in case of showers or strong wind on the booked date), we will reschedule your booking for the following date, if possible. If not, we will refund you the amount paid during the booking process on the website.

What is the cancellation policy?

For cancellations received at least 72 hours prior to the booked date, we will provide a 100% refund of the deposit. Within 72 hours of the tour, the deposit is non-refundable. Regardless of time frame, we request that you let us know by email or phone if you do not plan to attend so we re-open bookings. For guests that do not show up at the requested bookings without notice or that cancel less than 24 hours before the tour, we will charge the billing credit card a 60EUR no show fee per person and motorcycle on the tour.
