The Blue Cave is considered one of the most beautiful and unique natural phenomena in the Adriatic Sea. It is renowned for its mesmerizing blue light, which occurs when sunlight enters through an underwater opening and reflects off the white sandy bottom, illuminating the cave in an ethereal blue glow, it happens only at a certain time of the day. The phenomenon depends on the weather and sea conditions, so clear, sunny days are ideal!

The cave is situated on Biševo, a small island near the larger island of Vis. The Blue Cave can be accessed by boat, visitors transfer to a smaller boats to enter the cave itself, as the entrace is quite low and narrow.

Except the Blue Cave you will visit also:

  • Stiniva beach, located on the southern coast of the island Vis, it is famous for its unique geological formation, with the cliffs opening up just enough to allow a narrow entry to the sea, pebbled shore and crystal clear waters. Accessible either by a challenging hike through a narrow path or by boat. The beach gained wider recognition after being voted the best beach in Europe by European Best Destinations in 2016.
  • Budikovac island, small and picturesque island located near the larger island of Vis. The island features a beautiful lagoon with a pebbly beach, which is perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
  • Pakleni (Hell's) islands, are a group of small islands located off the southwestern coast of Hvar. They are famous for their stunning natural beauty, clear turquoise waters, and secluded beaches.
  • Hvar, an ancient town with a rich history on the island Hvar. Hvar is proud that it has the most sunny hours of all the islands in the Adriatic Sea. You will have approx. 2:00-2:30 min of free time to have a lunch, do the walking tour, or just relax and have a drink.
  • Changes in itinerary are possible depending on bad weather and sea conditions. In that case your skipper will decide where to go or not to go. It does not necessarily have to be the same order of destinations as written.
